A Domboshava woman who grabbed headlines after she married two men at once and brought her second husband to stay with the first one at his house is in hot soup.
Stella Muyenga (46), emerged double loser after both men dumped her over her violent behaviour and infidelity. Prior to that, Stella ditched her first husband, Crispen Mudzimu whom she sired eight children with to stay with one Hebert Murove. Stella also sired another child with her second husband. She later took him (second husband) to her first husband's house where they stayed for days before he returned to his homestead.
Stella's relationship with Murove soured, which prompted her to return to her first husband after Murove's other wife was granted a peace order against her. However, her return did not materialise as Mudzimu later approached the Harare civil court seeking a peace order against her.
Mudzimu said Stella was being violent towards him claiming that she once bashed him with an iron bar on the head. He also wanted Stella to vacate his homestead.
'We had appeared at the Harare magistrates' court after she hit me with an iron bar. She is violent and she used to hide food from me. I just want her out of my house because she chose to stay with Murove after the chief's court ordered her to stay with me," he said.
In response, Stella vowed not to leave the house even if the court orders her to do so.
"I am not going anywhere even if this court or the High Court rules that I must vacate. I have a share from the land, and I part of the money that purchased the land came from me. PLUS AKATONDITI GOMBA HARINA MWANA NDOSAKA NDADZOKA. The other thing is that I wanted to take care of my children and nurse the other one who was burnt on the leg. I was forced to return home to look after my children," she said.
Magistrate Milton Serima, who presided over the case, described her as a violent person and ordered her to stop her brutal antics towards Mudzimu. He also advised Mudzimu to approach the eviction court if he wishes to evict her.
