Harare man gets 1 year behind bars for raping a dog

A 32-year-old Harare man from Waterfalls got more that what he had bargained for after being slapped with a 12-month jail term for raping with a dog.
The seemingly sex starved man, Kenneth Muhowa (32), who resides at House No. 9A Crescent Breeders, Waterfalls in Harare appeared before Mbare magistrate Victoria Mashamba facing bestiality charges.
Muhowa allegedly was caught by Breeders security guards red-handed, quenching his sex zest on a dog in the middle of the night.
One of the security guards who caught Muhowa, Never Gurupira told the court that at first he thought he was dreaming when he saw Muhowa 'in action'.
"I heard the dog making noise and I went there with my colleague, Munyaradzi Mutinhiri to see what was taking place. We caught him red-handed. The dog was tightly fastened between his legs such that it could not escape at all. Pakutanga takatoshaya kuti chakabata chimwe chii, imbwa yaiva yabata munhu here kana kuti munhu ndiye aiva abata imbwa (we could not easily ascertain whether the dog had caught the man or it was the other way round). After noticing the way Muhoma was firmly holding on to the dog we the figured out what was taking place. He was tightly holding the dog as if he was holding a woman," said Gurupira.
He went on to say he he took Muhoma's clothes so that he would bring them to court as exhibit.
"Here are his clothes, and you can even see the dog furs. He should not deny this at all because many people also saw him," added Gurupira.
The embarrassed Muhoma who had been engulfed with so much shame could not say a word in court. Magistrate Mushamba who presided over the case sentenced him to 12 months in prison.
