SADC facilitator to the Zimbabwean political dialogue, President Jacob Zuma, says he has seen progress in the Zimbabwe political discourse following a discussion with principals to the Global Political Agreement.
President Zuma, met the three leaders, President Robert Mugabe of Zanu-PF, MDC-T leader, Morgan Tsvangirai and Welshman Ncube of the MDC in Harare, on the eve of the SADC Troika to be held in Maputo, Mozambique this Thursday, before the SADC summit on Friday.
The SADC facilitator said he will report to the troika and highlight areas where there are still differences.
Prime Minister Tsvangirai said his party has finished looking at the draft constitution, adding that the MDC-T cannot second guess when Zanu PF will finish as this is Copac driven.
President Mugabe said his team managed to put across to the facilitator Zanu-PF's views and the amendments they want effected in the draft which will then be taken to the All-Stakeholders meeting, parliament, and then to the referendum.
