Mr Thabane arrived to a hero's welcome as he received a 19-gun salute before he inspected the guard of honour.
He is expected to officially open the 102nd edition of the Harare Agricultural Show on Friday.
His visit to Zimbabwe comes barely three months after he was elected into office.
A banquet is going to be held in his honour at State House.
Besides the agricultural show, the premier is also expected to visit a number of local projects.
The Lesotho premier joins several other African heads of state who have officially opened the Harare Agricultural Show in the past.
