Girl (17) gives birth to a baby with animal body

Residents in Bikita were last week left dumbfounded when a seventeen year old woman gave birth to a child that was half human and half animal. The birth took place at Silveira Mission Hospital police in Bikita have confirmed.

Getrude Mabhenge of Chinoera village under Chief Marozva in Bikita gave birth to a child that was reported to have all the features that a human being have from the waist to head. The other half was said to have no private parts but had a protruding flesh where there were supposed to be buttocks, which resembled a sheep's tail.

There were no legs, where there were supposed to be limbs there was a one large flesh with ten toes. When contacted for comment Chief Marozva admitted that the child had some deformities, but quickly pointed out that he did not see the child as is the custom with the Shona tradition, that if a newly born baby dies it will only be buried with women only.

"I have not seen the child as you know that in our Shona tradition if a child dies only women are supposed to bury the child. So you never know with people when they talk some exaggerate to make the story juicy. However, what you have explained is exactly what I heard," he said.
