A top Zanu PF official, Tonderai Bosha, allegedly pulled out his gun and pointed it at his colleague following a dispute over a woman, Bulawayo24.com has learnt.

The incident occurred in Ruwa recently where Bosha, a Secretary for Indigenisation and Economic Empowerment in the youth league had a misunderstanding with a party official in Goromonzi identified as Regai Cheuka resulting in the former pulling out his gun in rage.

The matter has since been reported at Ruwa Police Station under RRB 4515054 with reports that Bosha, also a central committee member, is yet to be quizzed by the police over the matter.

It is reported that Zanu PF youth league boss Tendai Chirau was spotted with the duo after a meeting in Marondera at the weekend as he tried to settle the matter in a civil way.

Sources familiar with the incident alleged it occurred on September 10 at a fuel garage.

"The two met at a fuel service station in Ruwa near Choppies supermarket where they had a misunderstanding which is believed to be over a woman.

A raging Bosha then pulled his pistol and pointed it at Cheuka. Cheuka reported the matter to police a few days later and it is yet to be finalised.

The complainant is still in shock over the incident and it has been topical among Zanu PF youths in Goromonzi who are against such act," said the source.

Cheuka is a Zanu PF Mashonaland East provincial youth league deputy secretary for economic affairs.

Efforts to get a comment from both Cheuka and Bosha were fruitless as their mobile phones were not reachable.
