The Chishawasha Mission headmaster Mr Tizora dies

The headmaster of Chishawasha Boarding School has died. Mr Simon Muzanenhamo Tizora passed on Monday 28th September in the morning at West End clinic in Harare.
He is survived with his wife Annamore Tizora and four children two boys serving in the civil service and two girls who are now all adults. Mr Tizora is the fourth born in the family of ten. He is survived with eight siblings.
Mr Tizora was the brother to the former Senior Principal Director of the State House comrade Innocent TIZORA.
Mr Tizora was born on the 24th January 1958 in Zvimba Murombedzi. He attended Kaondera Primary School in Zvimba Murombedzi and did his secondary education at St Phillips Magwenya Guruve from there he enrolled at Nyadire Teacher's college in Mutoko. On Graduation Mr Tizora went to teach at St Joseph's in Rusape. He was then transferred to Holy Rosary in Mvurwi.
Mr Tizora was then transferred to St Joseph's Chishawasha. After a very good work he was transferred to Chishawasha Boarding School where he was promoted to be the headmaster. Mr Tizora was at Chishawasha until his death.
At Chishawasha mission Mr Tizora worked very hard and oversaw the building of Morden girl's hostels together with father Mukonori they worked in the sourcing of funds and manpower to make Chishawasha a heaven for the pupils. In building the girl's dormitories Mr Tizora Father Fidellis Mukonori and their team managed to get some funding from several people including the former president Robert Mugabe, the Zimplat and Comrade Jimayi Muduvuri among other donors.
Mr Tizora died at the time the work was moving to completion.
Father Fidellis Mukonori said I am so down and pained by his death, but I have no doubt that he will be by the side of the Lord." he said "I saw him four days ago at the hospital, Tizora had never been in hospital all his life this was his first time and last time, Tizora was happy that we spoke I visited the hospital at the Time COVID 19 was making the hospitals limit numbers of visitor's. Tizora had a passion to develop the school. he was the head at ST Joseph then we moved together to Chishawasha Mission." with a cracking voice Father Mukonori said Developments at Chishawasha would not have been possible without Tizora."
Father Mukonori said Mr Tizora was highly professional teacher everybody loved him. The Angels in heaven have gained and here on earth we have lost a true educationist He was a good Catholic."
Dr Innocent Tizora said his brother will be buried in Zvimba this coming Wednesday the30th of September. We have lost a hero, a friend a brother and indeed a teacher, my heart is so heavy and I cannot say much. Only God knows why and Only God will comfort us.
