ZANU PF Candidates for the District Coordinating Committee in Mashonaland Central province have been given the green light to the campaign.
Addressing the party Provincial leadership in Bindura at a provincial coordinating committee (PCC) this Sunday, politburo member Mike Bimha said it is now official for candidates to campaign.
"Candidates should start campaigning now but we should not have disputes because of DCC elections instead it should unite the party because it affects grassroots level," Bimha said.
Meanwhile, there has been a lot of chaos in the province ahead of the DCC elections as factionalism is riding high.
The deputy secretary for information Fredrick Nhaka is under discipline after his phone call audio with Bindura district political commissar leaked.
In the audio Nhaka accused Politburo member Kenneth Musanhi of being linked to Chiwenga and sabotaging President Emmerson Mnangagwa in the looming DCC.
Serious fights are noted in Mazowe, Muzarabani and Shamva where Chiwenga and Mnangagwa's candidates are allegedly drawing war zones.
