Two corrupt council officials face suspension

Two Mvurwi town council officials under one under housing department Simbarashe Kambare and Sydney Chionde under Information and Technology have been suspended following graft allegations.

Mvurwi Town Secretary Sheri Nyakudya confirmed the casing but could not shed more light.

"It is too early to comment on that issue," she said.

Meanwhile, cases of land scams in council in Mashonaland Central are on the increase with Bindura Municipality's two officials in court over the same allegations.
