Pair caught having sex in a fast food outlet in Gweru

A 21-year-old man and his girlfriend were allegedly caught having sex in the toilet of a popular fast food outlet in Gweru.
The incident happened at the weekend.
The accused, Desmond Gonyora of Munemo Road in Ascot, Gweru and his girlfriend, Patience Janasi, were allegedly caught by a customer who also wanted to use the same toilet but found the door locked.
Gonyora was yesterday hauled before Gweru magistrate Mrs Mildred Matuvi facing a charge of assaulting a security guard at the premises, Mr Langton Masunda.
He pleaded guilty to the assault charge and was remanded out of custody.
Gonyora, however, denied that he was having sex in the toilet and said that he had a running stomach and his girlfriend was only in the toilet to monitor him.
For the State, Mr Justos Makwena told the court that on Saturday at about 11pm, Mr Masunda, a security guard with Nokel Security Company was on duty at Chicken Inn food outlet in the Gweru Central Business District.
Mr Makwena said one of the clients who was in the food outlet then came from the toilet and informed Mr Masunda that there were people in the male toilet who were producing some sexual sounds.
The court heard that when Mr Masunda went to the toilet to investigate, he noticed a pair of trousers which were lowered while the sexual noises continued to be heard.
Mr Makwena said when the security guard knocked at the door, Gonyora demanded some tissues from Mr Masunda.
Gonyora told the complainant that he wanted to use the toilet tissues to wipe his male organ before he could open the door.
The court heard that Mr Masunda with the help of members of the public then forced open the door and found Gonyora and Janasi in the process of putting on their clothes.
Mr Makwena said when Mr Masunda tried to handcuff Gonyora, he became violent and head-butted him.
The court heard that Mr Masunda was then helped by a police officer who was passing by to arrest Gonyora while his accomplice, Janasi managed to sneak out of the toilet and disappeared into the darkness.
Mr Makwena said Janasi was still at large.
The court heard that three of Mr Masunda's front teeth were now loose following the head-butting he received from Gonyora.
