11 Sep 2012 at 08:01hrs | Views
Buhera North MP William Mutomba (Zanu-PF) and his firm Midkwe Minerals have taken Police Commissioner-General Augustine Chihuri to the Supreme Court in a bid to quash Bulawayo High Court order stopping all its operations at the disputed Chaka Plant and Gold mine, some 10km outside Kwekwe.
This follows an interim relief order by the High Court stopping Midkwe from carrying out mining operations at the disputed mine owned by Australian Lee Waverly Jones before it was grabbed by the Zanu-PF politician.
