Man rapes own grandmother

In a bizarre incident, a 26-year-old Guruve man allegedly broke into his grandmother's bedroom, jumped on her and raped her until she became unconscious.
The matter came to light at Bindura magistrates courts today where Mathias Chiyangwa of Tagara village, Chief Bepura was remanded in custody to April 22 by Magistrate Ethel Chichera.
The state-led by Sheilla Kudzai Maribha alleged that on Tuesday at around 0000hrs, Chiyangwa proceeded to his grandmother homestead and entered the bedroom.
The grandmother heard Chiyangwa's entrance and she lit her torch and saw him facially.
Chiyangwa jumped on his granny, grabbed her neck and the solar torch fell before switching off.
He raped his grandmother and she suffocated until she became unconscious.
The matter came to light when she revealed the act to one of her grandchildren who escorted her to the police station.
