Movement for Democratic Change Alliance (MDC-A) youths staged a flash demonstration outside High court Harare on Thursday demanding the release of an activist Makomborero Haruzivishe.
Haruzivishe was arrested last week and charged with kidnapping after he allegedly led Zimbabwe National Students Union (ZINASU) to storm the Impala car rental shop in Harare demanding the release of their president Takudzwa Ngadziore.
The youth were chanting the slogan "free Mako and further dropped placards written "Zanu-PF Must Go" at the court main entrance.
His lawyer Obert Shava of Zimbabwe Lawyers of Human Rights said," We are yet to investigate as to when he defaulted court".
He is being charged with case of kidnapping.
