The Constitution Select Committee has completed uploading data collated during the outreach programme.
It has been stored on a database called Codaca V1.
Copac co-chair Munyaradzi Paul Mangwana (ZanuPF) told Bulawayo24.com that data from the 4 856 meetings held in the meeting was stored in a secure format.
He said the Codaca database contains records of all the meetings conducted during the outreach phase of the constitution making process.
"There is also data back up on laptops, audios and video recorders. There is maximum security and nobody can temper with it," he said
Mangwana said Copac was working on the sitting of the thematic committees.
The committees will analyse the data and write reports.
"Thematic committees are expected to complete the work in two weeks," he said.
He said drafters would start their work after the compilation of the thematic reports.
"These drafters will be recruited on the basis of their expertise and knowledge of constitutional issues. They will package the data to form the draft constitution for Zimbabwe. This process should take about one month to complete."
Mangwana said the draft would be presented at a Second All Stakeholders' Conference for discussion.
He was however pessimistic about meeting their September deadline.
"Meeting the September deadline would depend on the availability of resources. We have lost one month but we will make everything within our powers to complete the exercise on time.
