Zimbabwe-Botswana relations praised

The Botswana Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Ms Gladys Kokorwe says bilateral relations between her country and Zimbabwe continue to strengthen with several joint commissions sealed in the last two years.
Ambassador Kokorwe was speaking at a local hotel at celebrations held to mark Botswana National Day.
She applauded the development of the relations which have seen the two countries co-operating in various areas which include trade, animal disease control, agriculture, defence and security.
Botswana held its national day commemorations marking the country's independence from the United Kingdom on September 30, 1966.
Several members of the diplomatic community attended the event which was also marked by musical and dance performances from Botswana afro jazz artist, Ndingo Johwa, Botswana Defence Forces traditional troupe dance and tsutsube dance group.
