Mamombe to know her fate on Monday

Main opposition MDC Alliance MP and political activist Joana Mamombe will know her fate on Monday afternoon in a case in which the state is seeking to revoke her bail after she failed to report to police last Friday.
Prosecutor Michael Reza claimed that her default was wilful.
However, Mamombe's lawyer Alec Muchadehama says his client had travelled to her rural home and resultantly failed to get back in time for reporting.
She only presented herself to the police the following day.
The state is seeking to revoke bail and detain her for that reason.
Earlier today senior MDC leader Job Sikhala was appearing in court on same charges that journalist Hopewell Chin'ono was slapped with that were declared a nullity by Justice Jesta Charewa in the High Court.
The magistrate dismissed Sikhala's application to set aside the charges.
