Mugabe meets Swiss Secretary of State

President Robert Mugabe held talks with the State Secretary of Switzerland, Mr Yves Rossier, at his Munhumutapa offices in the capital this Tuesday.
The Swiss State Secretary has been in Zimbabwe for the last four days touring Swiss-funded programmes and projects in Masvingo province.
The projects cover the areas involving water and irrigation, health and sanitation as well as agricultural production.
Mr Rossier said he is pleased with the implementation of the projects.
He said Switzerland is ready to scale up development assistance next year given the continued peaceful environment in the country.
Zimbabwe and Switzerland, which is considered a neutral country in the world, share cordial ties.
