Mugabe back home

President Mugabe returned home Saturday from Singapore where he had gone for a medical check-up after attending the World Energy Forum in United Arab Emirates.
Mugabe also attended the Africa Energy Summit that was held on the sidelines of the World Energy Forum.
At the airport to receive the President and First Lady Grace Mugabe and their delegation were Vice President Joice Mujuru, Defence Minister Emmerson Mnangagwa, Minister of State Security in the President's Office Sydney Sekeramayi and other senior Government officials.
During the World Energy Forum the Heads of State and Government and energy experts explored the roadmap towards a cleaner, safer and sustainable global energy system for the benefit of all nations.
They also looked at long-term energy solutions that will consider a variety of other energy sources through the use of innovative technology.
The meeting was held in line with the United Nations' goal for countries to have access to sustainable energy.
