A new publication for Zimbabwean women launches

Woman Magazine, a new publication this week launched in Zimbabwe. The founder of the magazine, Precious Chitapi said the presence of women in the media is set to change perceptions where the women's story has always been told from a male perspective.

Chitapi told ZBC News at a charity function dubbed "Woman Magazine Charity Tea" that her publication is striving to honor and recognise women achievers in Zimbabwean society.

She paid tribute for the support that Woman Magazine which is essentially the first publication of its kind in Zimbabwe catering for women only has continued to receive support from other female counterparts in positions of authority in Zimbabwe.

The event was held at a Harare hotel with speakers from various sections of Zimbabwean society from the business and spiritual sections.
