Jabulani Mangena declared National Hero

Zanu-PF Midlands Province political leadership has recommended to the politburo that the late Mberengwa North Legislator, Jabulani Mangena be accorded national heroes status.
Zanu-PF National Secretary for Information and Publicity, Rugare Gumbo said the late Mangena was a consistent and dedicated cadre who was committed to the development of the nation.
He said Mangena has left a void in the province that will be difficult to fill.
Zanu-PF Provincial Chairman, who is the Governor and Resident Minister for Midlands, Jason Machaya said the death of Mangena has robbed not only the province, but the nation as a whole.
He said Mangena was a hardworking cadre who had the interests of the people at heart.
Zanu-PF Secretary for Legal Affairs, who is also the Defence Minister, Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa consoled the Mangena family by urging them to take heart and celebrate the life of one of the country's illustrious sons who joined the party at a very tender age.
Mangena died on Friday after he suffered some respiratory complications.
