ZILIWACO donates 8 coffins to rebury over 800 exhumed bodies in Mt Darwin

The Zimbabwe Liberation War Collaborators (ZILIWACO) has donated 8 coffins to the Fallen Heroes of Zimbabwe Trust to assist in the re-burial of remains being exhumed in Mt Darwin.
Josephine Gandiya who is the Vice Chairperson of ZILIWACO said her organisation has donated coffins after being touched by the situation at Chibondo.
Receiving the coffins Zanu-PF Harare Province Chairman applauded the initiative by ZILIWACO.
Zanu-PF Harare provincial leadership is expected to leave for Mt Darwin on Saturday to hand over the coffins and other donations to the Fallen Heroes of Zimbabwe Trust.
Government has taken over the exhumations and reburial of the remains found in Mt Darwin. The remains of over 800 people have so far been recovered from the Chibondo mine shaft.
