Zimbabwe Development Party calls for peace

The Zimbabwe Development Party the party linked to CIO agents says it rallies behind President Robert Mugabe's call for a peace and corruption free environment ahead of general elections set for this year.
ZDP president Kisinoti Mkwazhi, a well known former CIO operative criticised the MDC formations for working in cahoots with the country's detractors to derail the gains of independence, saying his party concurs with Zanu PF that illegal sanctions imposed by the West should be removed unconditionally.
Mugabe is on record as calling for peace, unity and for top officials in government to shun corruption.
During the recent Zanu PF 13th People's Conference held in Gweru, President Mugabe warned some ministers, members of the police force, and the public to desist from corrupt activities or face the risk of being fired and arrested if found on the wrong side of the law.
