Man bashes neighbour for turning down his sexual request

A sex-starved man reportedly thumped his neighbour after she turned down his sexual request.
The man, Kumbirai Utsiwegota (32), who is quite well know in Mbare's National area, was fined US$30 when he appeared before Mbare magistrate Stanford Mambanje charged with assault. In addition, three months were wholly suspended for five years on condition of good behaviour.
Circumstances are that on 8 January at around 7pm, Elizabeth Mwanza was brushing her teeth when Utsiwegota of House No. 101 Zata Street Mbare National approached her from behind and said:
"Ndaikutsvaga masikati ese, ndoda kukus**ra size yakanaka (bengikudinga imini yonke ngifuna ukulala lawe) (literally meaning: I have been looking for you throughout the day, I want to quench your zest for sex).
Elizabeth was shocked with the words and turned to check on who was behind such spine-chilling words. Unfortunately, Utsiwegota grabbed and pushed her to the pole intending to have sex with her right away and by force! Elizabeth, however, fought back but was overpowered as Utsiwegota went on to kick her.
It is the State's case that Elizabeth wrestled with her neighbour as she was trying to free herself from his firm grip. Fortunately, she was rescued by a neighbour forcing Utsiwegota to run away from the scene.
He was later arrested and brought before the court. Hilda Varaidzo Huni appeared for the State.
