One of the country's most decorated comedians, Lazarus 'Gringo' Boora, has taken an open swipe at Spirit Embassy founder Prophet Uebert Angel who poked him with a scathing statement describing him as a 'small man'.

Prophet Angel was quoted as saying: "Big people don't talk about small people and that is the reason why you see Denzel Washington doesn't talk about Gringo."

In an interview with a local newspaper, Gringo had no kind words for the 'miracle money' Prophet.

"I don't want to talk about that man, I have no time to fight with him. Handide sadza kumba kwake, vapfanha vakauya zvinho kubva mhiri vanzwa kuti kwaita ma US dollar kuZimbabwe (kangifuni sitshwala emzini wakhe, abafanyana babuye izolo sebezwe kuthiwa kula US dollar eZimbabwe). They are just there to make money and I wish the likes of the late Pastor Chiweshe were alive to groom him. He needs serious counselling and I doubt if he has even read the bible.

"Prophet Makandiwa must teach this young man, hatimuzivi isu, mashoko ake nemaitiro ake haana huMwari mukati. Of course anoita mapipi ake asi hazvina tsarukano (kasimazi thina, amazwi akhe lezenzo kakula nkulunkulu phakathi. Of course wenza izimanga zakhe kodwa akuqondanga)," fumed Gringo.

Gringo recently revived his career and starred in a re-make of Gringo. The project was directed by top filmmaker Ben Mahaka and scripted by Enoch Chinhombori who is currently based in Botswana.

Prophet Angel, who claims to possess some 'prophetic powers' has recently received scathing attacks from all walks of life over his alleged miracle money where he claims to mysteriously produce thousands of dollars from nowhere during his church services.

Finance Minister Tendai Biti challenged Prophet Angel to produce at least $10 Billion and deposit the funds into the Government's bank account, if it was true that he surely can produce money.

This week, Reserve Bank Governor Dr Gideon Gono advised the flamboyant preacher to take it easy on miracle money. Dr Gono warned Angel to try something else other than miracle money as that would get him (Angel) into trouble for violating several international monetary rules and regulations.

Several pastors including the Evangelical Fellowship of Zimbabwe (EFZ) also denounced Prophet Angel's miracle money, with some men of God alleging that it was satanic or stage managed.
