A Harare woman on Wednesday caused a stir at the Africa Unity Square parking bay when she rammed onto business mugul, Dr Phillip Chiyangwa's parked Land Rover Discovery.
The woman, who was driving a BMW518i vehicle registration number ABG 8448, caused a pile up as she was also hit by another vehicle in her vehicle's rear. Witnesses said the lady made a sudden switch from the outer lane coming to the inner lane intending to park before she was hit by a vehicle she had got into the way of and then rammed into Dr Chiyangwa's vehicle.
Dr Chiyangwa was having a hair cut at a nearby salon at the time of the accident. Scored of people gathered in anticipation to catch a glimpse of the celebrated businessman but he did not show up. he could not entertain questions as he said he was busy before leaving in ANOTHER vehicle. He just took a brown leather bag and left the scene.
Instead his eldest son and socialite Bruce rushed to the scene and brought another car for his dad before entering into negotiations with the parties involved.
"We are simply having negotiations with the parties involved and we will just leave the matter in the hands of traffic cops," said Bruce.
The woman was visibly shaken and sobbing as her statement was being recorded by a police detail.
