AN entrepreneur in Chitungwiza, who head-butted another man for demanding US$1 he was owed by the businessman's worker, was yesterday fined US$140.

Simon Tizai (38) of D37 Unit G Hostels in Chitungwiza had an additional wholly suspended three-month jail term after he was convicted of assault.

He denied the charges when he appeared before Chitungwiza magistrate Ms Rumbidzai Mugwagwa.

He was, however, convicted after prosecutor Mr Lovet Muringwa proved a case against him.

Circumstances were that on New Year's Eve, one of Tizai's workers borrowed US$1 from Emmanuel Mutondo (48) of Unit G in the same suburb.

Mutondo had to wait for the man to bring back his money but to no avail.

The following morning, the troubled Mutondo visited Tizai's workplace to get his money.

On arrival, Mutondo asked for his money from Tizai's worker.

A heated argument ensued between the two parties and this drew the attention of the drunken Tizai who came and grabbed Mutondo.

Tizai head-butted Mutondo accusing him of disturbing his worker.

Mutondo later reported the matter to the police leading to Tizai's arrest.
