ZimRights charged for producing fake voter's roll

Zimbabwe Human Rights Organisation, (ZIMRIGHTS) has been officially charged for publishing statements prejudicial to the state.
ZIMRIGHTS was represented by its National Treasurer and Board member, Nunurai Jena.
The case has been remanded to the 8th of next month.
Another ZIMRIGHTS member, Leo Chamahwinya and three others have already appeared before the courts facing the same charges.
It is alleged that the organisation produced a fake voter's roll which had non-existent names, dates of birth and death.
The state alleges that the act was meant to discredit the voter's roll ahead of the general elections.
