The constitution draft is expected to be handed to the principals next week, to pave the way for the proclamation of dates for the referendum and general elections.
MDC-T National Organising Secretary Nelson Chamisa said the conclusion of the draft constitution by the principals should send a clear message to the world that the country can resolve its problems and is prepared for peaceful elections.
The Zanu-PF Secretary for Information and Publicity, Rugare Gumbo said the revolutionary party has already endorsed the draft and expectations are high that the principals will meet next week to map the way forward on the proclamation of dates for the referendum and forthcoming elections.
The principals last week agreed on various issues that were outstanding in the draft constitution.
Zanu-PF and the MDC-T have already begun mobilising their party supporters to vote Yes for the referendum.
If the draft constitution is endorsed by the people through a referendum, general elections anticipated this year will be held under the new supreme law.
