Teenager raped for turning down love proposal

A 16-year-old Mutare teenager was raped for turning down a love proposal.
The juvenile who resides in Murambi was coming from the city centre and met Promise Sithole (23) who proposed love to her. She turned down the offer before Sithole forcibly grabbed the bag she was carrying.
The victim followed and upon approaching Hillside Golf Club, he allegedly dragged her into a nearby bush and raped her once.
Police, however, arrested him and he is assisting them with investigations.
