Killer cops flee to SA

3 policemen from the Criminal Investigation Department based in Zvishavane, due to appear before the Gweru High Court Circuit to answer to murder charges, are feared to have fled the country, probably to South Africa.
The three are accused of fatally assaulting a suspect who was in police custody.
The three were due to be tried during the just-ended Gweru High Court Circuit, but the trial could not kick off as the police could not locate them for indictment.
