MDC provincial congress elections on this weekend

MDC provincial congress elections will be held in nine provinces at the weekend in preparation for the party's third national congress in Bulawayo.
Three other provincial elections have already been successfully held in Harare, Chitungwiza and Mashonaland West.
On Saturday provincial elections will be held in Bulawayo, Matabeleland North, Midlands North, Midlands South, Mashonaland Central, and Masvingo provinces. On Sunday elections will be held in Manicaland, Mashonaland East and Matabeleland South provinces.
The party will hold its main congress in Bulawayo from the 28th to the 30th of April under the theme; "The MDC Third National Congress - United, Winning -The People's Covenant to Real Change".
Meanwhile, Morgan Tsvangirai will tomorrow be the guest speaker at the Praying for Peace to Save Zimbabwe church service that will be held at St Peters Kubatana Centre in Highfield.
The church service is a commemoration of the 11 March 2007 assault of President Tsvangirai, the MDC senior leadership, civic society members and the public by the police at Zimbabwe Grounds.
