Mugabe welcomes UAE business mogul

The ruler of Ras al-Khaimah, Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr al-Qasimi has arrived in Zimbabwe for a four day state visit.
He was received at the Harare International Airport by President Robert Mugabe, Vice President Joice Mujuru, senior government officials and service chiefs.
The Emirate Ras al-Khaimah is one of the seven emirates which constitute the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Shiehk Saud al-Qasimi is the boss of the biggest pharmaceutical company in the northern hemisphere while the emirate is the biggest financial hub in the Arab peninsula.
Vice President Mujuru was instrumental in bringing al-Qasimi and his business delegation which has interest in mining, agriculture, commerce, hospitality industry, energy and construction.
The delegation is expected to visit some of the industrial concerns after meeting the political leaders during their stay in Zimbabwe.
The leader was treated to a 21 gun salute welcome and he inspected the guard of honour, an honour reserved for the Head of State.
