MDC Youth Assembly president, Solomon Madzore, has pledged to give his wife to President Robert Mugabe if he beats his party leader, Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai in the presidential elections scheduled for July this year.

Addressing a youth rally at Maungwa Business Centre in Gutu recently, Madzore said it was impossible for 89-year-old President Mugabe to beat Dr Morgan Tsvangirai in this year's election if they are held under free and fair conditions. He offered his own wife, Mai Vale, should the Zanu-PF leader win the polls.

Madzore however left thousands of party supporters who braved some continuous light rains throughout the day in stitches when he said he would be worried that she would however lack the sufficient 'service' in bed as President Mugabe (89) is too old to be sexually active, he claimed.

"(President) Mugabe will never beat Tsvangirai in this coming elections, it's impossible. If he (President Mugabe) beats Tsvangirai this year, I will give him my wife. But if it happens, I am worried that my wife Mai Vale will not get the 'service' she deserves in bed because mudhara akura haachafayi (umdala segugile kasenzi)," he claimed amid cheers from the crowd.

The youth president said his wing would drum up support for its leader Tsvangirai to make sure that he thrashes Mugabe in elections.

"I am convinced that people of Zimbabwe are aware of what Mugabe did to the country and their lives so he is not going to win," he further claimed.

Madzore urged youth to register to vote in the coming referendum and elections and promised his party would raise over 750,000 youth votes in the province to participate and vote for their leader in the elections.

"We want to make sure that our president beats Mugabe by a very big margin. This time he will have to beat the old man by more than two million votes and it's our responsibility as youths to go in our numbers in this year's polls and vote for the man who leads a party of excellence," he said.
