Girl's throat 'sliced' in satanism scare

In a bizarre incident that has left pupils at Nhowe Mission High School living in fear, a Form Three pupil on Monday morning woke up in a pool of blood whose source could not be established.
The 15-year old also had a deep cut just underneath her chin with some flesh missing.
The girl said one of her room-mates was also found with blood on her dress whose source could not be established.
The girl said she alerted the school authorities whom she accused of dismissing her story as just an imagination, despite failing to explain the origins of the blood and the deep cut.
The girl's mother, who has since transferred the pupil from the school, said she is not happy with the way the authorities handled the matter and appealed to government to launch investigations.
Mashonaland East education director Sylvester Machaka said he is yet to get a report on the incident, but promised to investigate the case.
