Urban grooves artist stabbed after being caught having sex with truck driver's wife

Ambitious urban grooves artist Wylie 'Jeanz' Ligomeka was stabbed in the back after being caught red-handed between the sheets with a polygamous truck driver's wife.
The spine-chilling incident occurred last Monday morning in Kuwadzana Extension where the singer was having quality time with Tonderai Mapini's first wife, Senita Magwezi.
Wylie Jeanz as the 30-year-old entertainer is fondly known enjoys rave reviews on the airwaves with his single titled Kwadzinorohwa matumbu. The gifted entertainer has been going out with Tonderai's wife for less than a week after she told him she had separated with her husband, it was established.
However, all hell broke loose on Monday at 5am at house no. 13563 in Kuwadzana Extension when Tonderai visited them unexpectedly and found Wylie Jeanz relaxing with Senita in his bedroom-naked.
A fierce fight, sources say, ensued in Wylie Jeanz' love nest, attracting the attention of co-tenants and neighbours. At the height of the brawl, Tonderai drew a knife and stabbed the musician in the back, it is alleged.
The unfortunate singer, who stays in the same neighbourhood at no. 13482 managed to escape and hid in the landlord's dining room. The fracas ended at Kuwadzana police station where a docket was opened and the singer was taken to Harare Central hospital.
Tonderai confirmed stabbing Wylie Jeanz after catching him in Senita's apartment. "I didn't want to go this far but he did not show any remorse after I caught him with my wife which prompted me to attack him," said the distraught truck driver.
"I was coming from a trip in Chegutu when I passed through intending to pay rentals since I have two wives only to find this guy in my bedroom. What irked me is that when I knocked, she opened the door but she blocked me. I then entered the room by force only to find him between the sheets. To be honest, I was mad as he had the guts to tell me that he had met my wife four days ago in a commuter bus. He even told me that he had come to relax with her. Lucky enough my children were not around, they could have been affected by this. This is not the first time to hear about her cheating on me.
"Sometime back, we had a heated argument after I discovered some love text messages in her mobile phone sent by one of my friends. She never expected me at that hour after I had told her that I was going on a trip and expecting to come back two days later. This time around, I managed to catch this gut and stabbed him.
"After stabbing him, my wife begged me to settle the issue privately so that it would not reach out to Wylie Jeanz relatives since we stay in the same neighbourhood. He is the one who decided not to make a police report unaware that my wife had already rushed to phone police fearing that I would attack her. As I looked for transport to take him to the doctor, I returned and found police officers at the house and I escaped from the scene. I ran away and I was surprised to hear my wife saying Wylie Jeanz wants me to pay for his medication and drop the charges," said Tonderai.
One of the eye witnesses at the house said they will no longer use one of the sofas in their house after it was soaked by blood as Wylie Jeanz sought refuge in their bedroom.
"I spotted the two (Senita and Wylie) getting into the house and I noticed that he was not the husband and there was nothing we could do about it. As we speak one of our sofas is no longer usable after the victim soaked it with the blood that was gushing out from him and I regretted my failure to confront them after I spotted them the previous night," said the witness.
In an interview Senita said she did not have sex with the singer but confirmed they were dating.
"He was just relaxing and we did not have sex, I have known him for less than a week. How did it reach you people so fast? I have since separated with Tonderai and I was surprised to discover that it was him after he knocked the door early in the morning. My new lover is not married and I can even show you where he stays," said Senita before leading the writer to Wylie Jeanz's house.
In another interview, Wylie Jeanz, a proud divorcee, confirmed dating Senita and said the story had already reached his mother in Namibia.
"The story has already reached my mother in Namibia after my relatives told her that I was caught with a married woman. It was my second visit at the house after Senita made me to believe that she had separated with her husband. I didn't have sex with her on that day in question but I just wanted to relax with her after a busy day.
"I have since received treatment and I have five stab wounds on my back. I am still in pain and I am supposed to visit the doctor tomorrow. A police report has been made. But what surprised me is that I spent the whole day with Senita at the hospital and Tonderai claims that she is his wife. I will continue regarding Senita as a friend," he said.
His stage name Jeanz stands for Just Entered A New Zone, but it appears in this case he had entered a 'taken zone'.
