Man bashes wife for shaving pubic hair

A Harare man who supposedly loved it 'jungle-like' is in court after allegedly assaulting his wife for shaving her pubic hair.
Zerubbabel Munaki was so much in love with his wife Rutendo Musamba's pubic hair that he thrashed her in January after finding out that she had gotten rid of it, a Harare magistrate heard.
Musamba told the court that her husband 'examined' her whole body to check the origins of hair strands he had seen in the bathroom sink on 21 January. The court heard Munaki arrived home after work to find Musamba and their child sleeping.
Munaki, whose name literally means 'one who tastes superb', allegedly went into the bathroom and found hair strands in the sink before storming into the bedroom to quiz his wife.
After learning that his better half had shaved her seemingly 'too sweet to be lost' pubic hair, Munaki grabbed her and threw her to the other side of the bed. When she tried to explain, an infuriated Munaki, who could not come to terms with the fact that his beloved wife's privates had become 'hairless' like a bald head, allegedly assaulted Musamba with open hands.
He is said to have locked her in the bedroom and took their child with him. Munaki, who lost his wife's seemingly too attractive but privately kept 'type of hair' will be back in court tomorrow.
