The Zimbabwe Republic Police Law and Order section has reportedly swooped on the Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission with sources at the anti-graft body saying on Friday one of the commission's senior investigations officials had gone into hiding.

There are also reports a senior ZACC investigation officer had received threats from anonymous people who had on Thursday allegedly followed him from his office at Livingstone House after work to his home where they warned him of unspecified action should he continue with the corruption probe against 3 Cabinet ministers.

In another development Home Affairs co-minister Kembo Mohadi wrote to ZACC chief executive officer Ngonidzashe Gumbo withdrawing him from the commission.
