Principals of the government of national unity and Cabinet ministers will get a windfall in the form of cash, houses, residential stands, and luxury cars, as they have now finalised plans for golden handshake in the form of plump exit packages when the tenure of the current coalition arrangement ends in June.

President Mugabe, PM Tsvangirai, VP Joice Mujuru and DPMs Arthur Mutambara and Thokozani Khupe are expected to get hundreds of thousands of dollars while ministers would get $30 000, residential stands in affluent suburbs, 3 luxury cars including Mercedes Benz and top of the range SUVs.

An unnamed minister has reportedly declined the costly packages.
