Zimbabwe's Vice President Joice Mujuru, has reiterated government's commitment to revising agriculture in a bid to boost the country's economy.
Speaking after touring Sable Chemicals Industries Limited in Kwekwe, Mujuru urged the private sector to co-operate with government in its bid to advance the country's economy.
Mujuru said if agriculture is fully revived across the country it will not only create employment but also boost other sectors as most of the country's industries depend on agriculture.
She added that Sable Chemicals is a key factor of the country's agricultural sector which is heavily dependent on the fertiliser it produces.
The company's Chief Executive Officer, Mr Jack Murehwa, said they are currently operating at 40 percent capacity but are capable of functioning extensively if electricity prices remain stable.
Sable Chemicals is one of the world's largest electrolysis ammonia plants which is a huge consumer of electricity and is proving costly to the company.
