The Zimbabwe Republic Police says the send-off church service for police officers who would have completed their training helps in moulding God fearing officers who will police the nation.

Officer commanding Morris Deport Training, Senior Assistant Commissioner Grace Ndebele said the church service was introduced to promote the spirit of team work and oneness among members of the police force.

Guest preacher, Zimbabwe National Army Chaplin General Colonel Joseph Nyakudya advised the police officers to be diligent and shun corruption in the discharge of their duties.

The ZRP Commissioner General holds a church service for every squad that completes training and the event has seen various preachers coming to share the word of God with the officers.
