Drama as 15 stupid robbers steal gold ore from mine

There was drama on Thursday last week when 15 robbers brandishing weapons stormed Eiffel Blue 200 gold mine in Kadoma and ordered mine workers to surrender gold ore which they loaded into their truck and disappeared.
The robbers were however tracked down by armed police, resulting in the arrest of two suspects while the other 13 escaped and are still at large.
Mr Mabasa Chichaya, a director at the mine, confirmed the incident yesterday.
"It was around 2am when I received a call from one of my workers that 15 intruders armed with all sorts of weapons descended on the mine and ordered the workers to stop their mining activities."
He said the workers tried to resist the robbers but eventually fled the scene while the thieves loaded the ore into their truck and disappeared.
Police also recovered the truck and the ore.
