ZANU-PF will hold its crucial politburo meeting on Thursday where discussions on preparations for the harmonised elections to be held by June 29 are likely to take centre stage.
Zanu-PF Secretary for Administration Didymus Mutasa yesterday confirmed the meeting.
"The Secretary for Administration Didymus Mutasa is advising all Politburo members that there will be a Politburo meeting at the Zanu-PF headquarters on Thursday the 11th of April 2013 at the usual time," Mutasa said in a statement yesterday.
Speaking in an interview Zanu-PF Secretary for Information and Publicity Rugare Gumbo said the meeting would tackle issues to do with election preparations.
"The meeting will hopefully tackle those issues to do with the preparations for the elections and others related to that," he said.
Last month, the Politburo deferred deliberations on rules and regulations governing the conduct of primary elections to select candidates to represent the party in harmonised elections.
