Cain Nkala murder accused, Remember Moyo has died

Prominent and fearless Zimbabwean activist Remember Moyo has died.
Moyo who was the chairman of another faction of the MDC-T Johannesburg district died after a short mysterious illness at Johannesburg Hospital on Thursday.
Moyo is survived by his wife and two children aged 16 and 14. Moyo fled Zimbabwe after he and other MDC activists in Bulawayo were arrested and charged with the murder of war veterans chairman for Bulawayo province, Cain Nkala. While in police cells, Moyo and his colleagues were seriously tortured by secret service agents but after the judge released them on bail, Moyo and his colleagues fled to South Africa where they sought refuge.
His death came a few days after the death of Jimmy Mhlanga who was the chairman of the rival faction of the MDC-T which according to some analysts now resembles Zanu (PF) in terms of factionalism. Moyo however refused to speculate on whether there was foul play in the deaths of the chairpersons of the two rival factions of the same party. But Moyo told Radio Vop that both men complained of serious stomach pains and were admitted to hospital. Mhlanga was the first to die last week on Sunday. Remember followed three days later at the same hospital.
According to one party official Austin Moyo, the party will assist with funeral arrangements in South Africa but they would wait for his relatives first to make a decision on when the body should be transported back home.
