The MDC led by MOrgan Tsvangirai said it is confident of winning all the 26 parliamentary constituencies in Masvingo province in the next harmonised elections.

This was said by the MDC-T national organising secretary, Nelson Chamisa today while addressing party supporters at Mucheke Stadium in Masvingo where the MDC-T was launching its provincial door-to-door campaign.

The door to door campaigns popularly known as "D2D" are the MDC-T's membership recruitment drive meant to encourage the people register to vote ahead of this year's harmonised elections.

Chamisa said the door-to-door campaign was the MDC-T final stage to going for elections which the party expected to win overwhelmingly.

"We started with a new Constitution and come Christmas time we will be having a new President for Zimbabwe, President Morgan Tsvangirai," he said.

He said the door-to-door campaigns were corresponding with the MDC-T victory rally that will be launched tomorrow.

A similar launch, which was attended by thousands of party supporters was held at the Harare show grounds last Saturday and was addressed by the secretary general, Tendai Biti and Chamisa.

The Harare provincial leadership pledged to recruit one million voters in the capital city alone. Biti said the only game in town was to take Tsvangirai to the State House.

"There is only one show in town and that is to take President Tsvangirai to the State House," said Biti.

The MDC-T said similar launches will be held in other provinces this month.
