Another MDC-T MP passes the baton

Masvingo West MDC-T MP Tichaona Mharadze has pulled out of the party's primary election race and pledged to rally behind his contestant Takanayi Mureyi to promote what he termed "the spirit of passing on the baton".

Mharadze becomes the third sitting MDC-T MP to voluntarily leave his seat and allow another person to take over after Minister of Constitutional Affairs Eric Matinenga and Masvingo Central MP Jefferyson Chitando who is now pursuing a Senatorial seat.
