Kasukuwere says Gono is corrupt

In what is perhaps the most direct attack since the rift between Indigenisation minister Saviour Kasukuwere and RBZ governor Gideon Gono began, Kasukuwere yesterday said Gono is the most corrupt person Zimbabwe has ever known.

Speaking to students at the National University of Science and Technology, Kasukuwere said Gono was more corrupt, claiming he was being bribed by foreign banks to defend their interests.

The minister did not provide evidence that the central bank governor was receiving kickbacks.
