Domestic violence cases in Harare have spiked and this has something to do with sanctions, at least according to the police.
The police commander in Harare, Clemence Munoriarwa, says at least 9 couples are engaged in fights everyday, the Daily New reported.
Munoriarwa said sanctions imposed on President Mugabe and his close associates are contributing to domestic violence.
