Zuma says Zanu-PF boycott mysterious

South African President Jacob Zuma's facilitation team yesterday said Zanu-PF representatives did not give reasons for their absence at Tuesday's negotiators' meeting in Harare.
The party failed to attend the crucial meeting, a move viewed by their counterparts in the inclusive government as a deliberate boycott.
Zuma's team yesterday said the Zanu-PF negotiators Patrick Chinamasa and Nicholas Goche were advised of the meeting two weeks in advance.
In a statement, convener of the facilitation team Charles Nqakula said efforts to contact Chinamasa, who is also Justice and Legal Affairs minister, and Transport minister Goche proved fruitless.
