Two cabinet ministers tasked by the shaky inclusive government principals to craft an election roadmap have failed to meet a month after their work was cut out for them.
As a result, hopes of holding elections by the expiry of Parliament's five-year lifespan on June 29 were fading fast.
Constitutional and Parliamentary Affairs minister Eric Matinenga (MDC-T) yesterday said he was yet to meet his Zanu-PF counterpart Justice minister Patrick Chinamasa almost a month after President Mugabe and PM Morgan Tsvangirai directed them to work out timeframes, validate the new constitution and other logistical arrangements for the polls.
