High Court orders the release of Madzore

High Court judge, Justice Felistas Chatukuta today granted the release of Solomon Madzore, the MDC-T Youth Assembly leader bail after he dismissed the State opposition of granting him bail.
The MDC youth leader was arrested two weeks ago in Harare on charges that he had labelled Mugabe a 'limping donkey' at a Youth Assembly rally in Mbire, Mashonaland Central province.
Madzore was later transferred to the Bindura Central Police Station where he was locked up for four days before he was brought to court last week Monday.
He was granted a $100 bail last week at the Bindura Magistrates' Court but was remanded in custody after the State prosecutor, Munyaradzi Mataranyika invoked the notorious Section 121 of the Criminal Procedure and Evidence Act and he was remanded in custody.
However, today Justice Chatukuta dismissed the State application and ordered the immediate release of Madzore.
